The sauna boat.
Our sauna boat was designed and manufactured by Saunaboot GmbH in Lucerne with great attention to detail and careful craftsmanship. They were the first to bring these sauna boats to Switzerland. Equipped with an 8 hp motor, it chugs across the water and provides a unique experience. The sleek design of the sauna boats is a real eye-catcher – other models are available on Lake Zurich, Lake Lugano, Lake Geneva and Lake Thun.
The sauna boat offers three comfortable areas on approx. 15 m², which are perfectly coordinated:
Sauna area (approx. 5 m²): Enjoy the soothing warmth and let your mind wander. Relaxation and recreation room (approx. 5 m²): Ideal for relaxation breaks between sauna sessions – you can make yourself comfortable here and also enjoy small snacks. Open platform (approx. 5 m²): The perfect place to enjoy the fresh air and step directly into the water via the boat ladder. The sauna boat is also steered from here.
You are your own drivers!
Thanks to its 8 HP motor and easy handling, you can operate the sauna boat from the age of 18 without a motorboat licence. An exclusive wellness oasis that combines relaxation, nature and design in a truly unique way.

Safety.
We want you to feel completely at ease on the sauna boat. This also means that you feel completely safe. That’s why you’ll find life jackets, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket on board. And some written information to make things a little easier to understand. You will receive detailed instructions from us directly before your trip on the sauna boat.

About us.
Switzerland’s first sauna boat, s`Berti, is located at St. Niklausenstrasse 105 in Kastanienbaum. In the harbor below the Seehotel Kastanienbaum.
During the colder months, Lake Lucerne reveals its most peaceful side. There are hardly any boats or people around – just nature, open water and a true sense of relaxation. From early September to the end of June, we rent out our sauna boat for unforgettable moments on the water. Only storms or thunderstorms may require a rescheduling. Otherwise, almost any weather condition has its own unique charm and makes for a truly special sauna experience.
Enjoy soothing warmth on board and breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding forests and mountains. Take in stunning vistas stretching from Mount Pilatus and Mount Rigi to Niederbauen and Rophaien.
